The weather was a little unkind but our brave volunteers brushed off the wind and rain to help plant close to 5000 trees, reeds and saltbush in prepared areas to assist in revegetation and reclaiming of salt areas. There were 4 floating islands installed to create habitat for nesting waterbirds away from predators. All this would not have been possible without the help of The Blackwood Basin Group and Landcare Australia for funding. We are looking forward to watching it all grow!
